WHO IS SCANNER DAN?
If you are interested in this short documentary, then, like me, you probably spent time in Madison, Wisconsin at the tail end of the 20th Century. I made this as a film student at University of Wisconsin in 1994.
WHILE YOU'RE HERE please take a minute to check out my website. In the 30 years since telling Scanner Dan's story I have produced hundreds of hours of nonfiction programming for film, TV, and clients. I always love collaborating with my fellow UW grads.
KID DYNAMITE
In 1998 I trained my camera Kid Dynamite. What he may have lacked in physical stature, he made up for with his towering attitude. The documentary screened on two staples of 1990s independent film: WTTW's Image Union, and the Chicago Underground Film Festival.
